Paul Myatt

Paul Myatt is one of Australia’s leading music teachers and campagner for Arts Education. Paul writes for easiLEARNmusic with Gillian Erskine. Paul and Gillian are also very successful music teachers having built Forte School of Music to become a national and international network of music schools with over 4,000 students in Australia. Paul’s passion is to encourage every child to have fun learning music so that they can continue to play and continue to receive the benefits of playing music into adulthood. He started his teaching career in 1985 and currently teaches over 100 group piano students at Forte School of Music Dee Why in Sydney, with many participating in AMEB & Trinity College grade exams. He is a passionate believer in the benefits of music education and his personal mission in life is to help to educate teachers and students in having fun learning music as well as facilitating life-long music learning. Paul is an expert in class piano teaching techniques and is a regular workshop presenter around Australia and the US.
