Michael Power

Michael Power is a collaborative pianist and teacher of piano at Newcastle Grammar School, where has developed a chamber music program for collaborative pianists in small ensembles and works closely with instrumentalists in the school music program. A graduate of Newcastle Conservatorium, where he now also works as teacher and collaborative pianist, Michael has studied with Gian-Franco Ricci, Helen English and Gabriella Pusner. Michael is active in his role as the President of the Music Teachers’ Association of NSW Newcastle Branch, appointed at the end of 2017.
