Joanne Burrows

Joanne completed a Bachelor of Arts, and Diploma of Education through University of Queensland (1981). She taught classroom music in Queensland and NSW before moving to Wagga Wagga in 1986. Between 1986-1994, Joanne taught piano, at the Riverina Conservatorium of Music ,developed an HSC Music Program at Trinity Senior High School and completed her AMusA in Piano, and an ATCL and LTCL in piano pedagogy. In 2004 Joanne was appointed Head of Keyboard at the Riverina Conservatorium and in 2010, Chair of the Curriculum Council. In 2011, she became a Wirripang Composer. Joanne currently teaches at the RCM and continues to have music published by Wirripang.
