David Catterall

David Catterall

David Catterall is a flautist and pianist from Western Sydney. He majored in Flute at Sydney Conservatorium of Music where he graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in 2014 under the tutelage of Alexa Still and Alison Mitchell. During High School, David achieved his AMusA (Flute) and went on to complete his LTCL (Flute) in 2014. He also earned his Certificate in Performance for Piano in 2010. David’s students have ranged from ages 4 to 97. Recently, he has specialised in primary aged students where his student size is currently around 60 students. When David is not teaching, he is often found performing and Musically Directing for Musical Societies around Western Sydney and beyond, including but not limited to Blue Mountains Musical Society, Bathurst Carillon Theatrical Society and Richmond Players.
