The Alan Lane Memorial Workshops is a three day event that provides inspiration and information to music teachers from across Australia.

ANGELA TURNER – In this session with Angela Turner, be the first to see the new Exploring Repertoire series, edited and compiled by Angela. Published in Australia, this series incorporates both classical and contemporary sound worlds, is suitable for use within different examination syllabi, and provides a framework for further exploration. Angela will discuss ways to develop and encourage a student’s understanding through repertoire, by embedding aspects of aural development, harmony and transposition, analysis and composition, improvisation, ensemble work, general musicianship and technique. This session will focus on early level repertoire (Preliminary/Grade 1.)
